What Constant Contact is

Constant Contact is an email marketing platform aimed at small businesses and nonprofits. Alongside email it includes social media posting, event registration, simple product sales and SMS, and every plan comes with live phone and chat support.

Constant Contact plans and pricing

PlanStarting price, billed monthlyStarting price, paid yearly (per month)UsersMonthly sends
Lite (ideal for beginners)$12$10.20110 times your contacts
Standard (great for most businesses)$35$29.75312 times your contacts
Premium (ideal for pros)$80$68Unlimited24 times your contacts

These are starting prices for the smallest contact tier. Price goes up with the number of contacts, and Constant Contact’s main pricing page doesn’t list every tier, so check the price for your list size at sign-up. Prepaying saves 10% for 6 months or up to 15% for 12 months. Teams needing 5 or more accounts can ask about Multi-Account pricing.

  • No free plan.

Limits and catches to know

  • Peak-count billing. You’re billed on the highest number of contacts you had during the month, not the count at the end. Going from 400 to 525 and back to 410 bills you at the 501–1,000 tier.
  • Monthly charge even if you don’t send.
  • Over your send limit: emails still go out, at $0.002 per extra send ($2 per 1,000).
  • Add-ons include Email Inbox Preview ($10 a month) and SMS on Lite and Standard (from $10 a month, US only).

Integrations

Constant Contact lists 300+ integrations on all plans, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Zapier, Canva and Eventbrite.
